I am International Master Suyog Wagh, a professional chess player and coach from India. My journey in chess has taken me across the world, competing in prestigious tournaments in more than 10 countries. I earned the title of International Master by achieving all required norms and consistently performing against strong opposition.

My coaching philosophy focuses on building a complete understanding of chess: dynamic play, opening preparation, middlegame planning, and endgame technique. I also work extensively on practical time management under real tournament conditions.

I specialize in the Catalan as White and the Be2–Be3 system against the King’s Indian Defense. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is rapid rating gain, norm preparation, or general improvement.

As a coach, I have mentored more than 50 students globally — from club players to advanced competitors. Many have improved their ratings and competitive consistency through structured training.
